Caladium (Angel Wings) 🍃
Known for their striking, wing-shaped leaves, Caladiums are true showstoppers of the plant world. Originating from Central and South America, they burst into colour during the wet season, brightening forest floors and river banks with bold patterns and vivid shades.

Plant Care
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun which can scorch delicate leaves.
Watering: Keep soil evenly moist during the growing season. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Keep away from cold drafts and frost.
Humidity: Loves high humidity. Mist regularly or use a pebble tray/humidifier.
Feed: Apply a balanced fertiliser every 2–4 weeks during the growing season.
 
Good to Know
Bulb Plant: Caladiums grow from tubers/bulbs, which naturally go dormant.
Dormancy Care: Once the leaves have fully died back and the compost is dry, place the pot in a cool, shady spot over winter. In spring, when the days get lighter and warmer, bring it back to a bright location and water very lightly. Gradually increase watering as new shoots appear — and watch as those gorgeous leaves return like magic.
Toxicity: Leaves are toxic if ingested — keep away from pets and children.
