The Monstera deliciosa or the Swiss Cheese Plant as its more commonly known due to vast amount of small holes that occur in its heart-shaped leaf. The holes in the leaves occur naurally and they allow sunlight to shine through to lower leaves.

This retro-looking plant, a huge hit in the 50s, is a climber which will flourish with little care will easily take over a vacant corner in your home!

This is a slightly more mature plant which has been trained on a moss pole.

Pot size: 19cm x 80cm

Light: Place in bright, indirect sunlight.

Water: When the top two inches of soil have dried out, give your Monstera a good soak.

Images show how this plant may look at various stages of maturity. The size you choose may look different. As plants are living items each will vary in shape, colour and trail length/height.

At Memento, we try to be as environmentally friendly as we can and therefore we limit plastic packaging where possible, however to ensure the protection and safe delivery of your plant, bubble wrap may be necessary. We will always try to reuse cardboard boxes from store deliveries, so your order may not arrive in branded packaging.
Why not choose a new home for your plant from our beautiful collection of pottery in our online store. When both a plant and pot are bought together our team in store will pot your plant up complimentary for you prior to collection or delivery (not available for courier shipping)

When considering a new pot, we’ve got some guidelines below to help you choose the right size. All our plants are advertised with the size of their current nursery pot, plants should always be gradually potted on, never jump too big as this can lead to watering issues

· 5cm to 10cm - 2cm bigger

· 11cm to 15cm - 3cm bigger

· 16cm to 20cm - 4cm bigger

· 20cm to 30cm – 5cm bigger

· 30cm+ - 8 to 12cm bigger

These guidelines are based on plants being potted on, we cannot guarantee that a nursery pot will sit comfortably inside a decorative pot. Most of our pots come sealed with no drainage holes therefore our team will add a base layer of drainage before potting on with a nutrient rich soil. You will need to water your plant as soon as you get it home.
